How to Set Up New Product Settings.

Follow the following steps to set up products setting:

Step 1. Click on the inventory menu in apps menu as shown below.

Step 2. On the new page that opens up, click on the configuration menu then click on product category as shown below.

Step 3. On the new page that opens up, click on raw materials as shown below.

On the page that opens up, details such as the number of products in that product category will be available as shown below.

N.B: when a product is assigned a specific product category, that product will inherit properties of that specific category. Such properties include inventory valuation and account properties etc as shown above.
